Our design philosophy is quite simple. Design has to look good, feel great and work well.
Comfort and functionality are as important as aesthetics, but above all,
it has to reflect your unique style and fit the way you live.

Design Process

Fact-Finding:

Identify challenges and needs/goals/objectives.  Assess personal style and needs (e.g. functionality, lifestyle, hobbies).  Define the scope and range of the project(s).  Establish timelines and budgets.

Design Plan/Concept:

Develop a design plan that addresses what was agreed upon in the fact-finding session, which may include some or all of the following: layout/floorplan, colour, finishes, lighting, paint, cabinetry, moulding, fireplaces, staircases, floor coverings, window coverings, furniture, art and accessories (e.g. cushions, bed linens, table coverings). The client will be presented with suggestions and can then make the final selections with Lori M, who will source the products. Selections must be completed on time to keep the project moving toward the agreed upon deadline.

Working Drawings and Specifications:

Once the design plan/concept has been approved by the client, Lori M creates drawings and specifications for contractors, trades and other suppliers.
